How do I update a field within a form?

Each field within a form can be updated inside the form editor. Which edits can be made varies based on the type of field, but the location of the form editor and some basics remains constant.

Procedure

  1. Click on the Modules tab in the upper left corner.
  2. Click on the name of the module containing the field you want to edit. The Field List contains the basic definitions of fields, whereas the Default Form is where most changes that appear in the form are made.
  3. Click on the Forms tab.
  4. Click on the name of the Form you wish to edit.
  5. Click on the Wrench icon beside the field you wish to edit.
  6. See the articles for editing/creating specific types of fields.
