How do I make and customize a new form?
Each module is created with a master, default, comment, and print form. New forms can be created in addition to these. This teaches how to make a new form with customizable entry fields.
- The master form is not a true form, but rather the template upon which other forms are built.
- The different types of entry fields are text, numerical, check, lookup, date & time, comment, or phase.
Procedure
- Go to the Modules tab and click on the Pencil Icon for the module the form will be created in.
- Go to the forms tab.
- Click on +Add to make a new form.
- To add entry fields go to the Palette, click on the drop down menu next to the palette to choose desired type of entry field.
- Click the green + next to the desired entry field choice.
- Repeat steps four and five until all the entry fields you need are added.
- To edit the entry fields visit the Field List and update the fields by there name accordingly.
- Press Preview to see what the form would look like if viewed by users.
- Press Save to keep the changes you've made.
