How do I tailor the grid layout?

The Grid is where requests for items is listed. The order of the objects found on it can be modified for either a single user or everyone. The option of changing which items appear as columns on the Grid is only available for Administrators. 

Procedure: Tailored for You (Individual)

  1. If you have permissions in more than one module, select the module you want to reorder by clicking on the secondary tabs above the grid representing each module. Grids appear on the first screen users see to log in. They can also be reached by pressing the logo in the upper left corner of the screen. The specific module's tab can be reached by clicking on the module's name in the list of tabs below the ones found at the top of the screen.
  2. Click on one of the categories and drag it. Repeat until the categories are in the order you want. 
  3. Click on the View drop down menu located directly above the grid on its left side. 
  4. Select Save Layout from the drop down menu. 
  5. Click on the tab for the grid of the module you want to modify. Grids appear on the first screen users see to log in. They can also be reached by pressing the logo in the upper left corner of the screen. The specific module's tab can be reached by clicking on the module's name in the list of tabs below the ones found at the top of the screen.
  6. Drag items on the grid to where you want them to be. 
  7. Click on the View drop down menu above the grid on the left side of the screen
  8. Press the Reset Layout option to make it so that your view matches everyone else's default. 
  9. Press the Icon With Three Horizontal Parallel Lines on it located in the upper left corner of the grid. 
  10. Press the check marks located next to an item in the drop down menu that appears to add this column to the grid, and click again, changing that Check Mark to an X to remove the column. 
  11. Press Save Layout

Procedure: Tailored for Everyone (Administrators)

  1. Click on the tab for the grid of the module you want to modify. Grids appear on the first screen users see to log in. They can also be reached by pressing the logo in the upper left corner of the screen. The specific module's tab can be reached by clicking on the module's name in the list of tabs below the ones found at the top of the screen.
  2. Drag items on the grid to where you want them to be. 
  3. Click on the View drop down menu above the grid on the left side of the screen
  4. Press the Reset Layout option to make it so that your view matches everyone else's default. 
  5. Press the Icon With Three Horizontal Parallel Lines on it located in the upper left corner of the grid. 
  6. Press the check marks located next to an item in the drop down menu that appears to add this column to the grid, and click again, changing that Check Mark to an X to remove the column. 
  7. Press Save Layout For All Users
